July Reading List

This month hasn't been a great reading month for me. The libraries in my town don't have most of the books that I want to read and I've been spending so much money furnishing my apartment that buying books isn't a huge priority for me right now. So I haven't read much but it's okay. My progress will pick up soon enough.

1. It's Not Summer Without You- It feels like it's been forever since I read The Summer I Turned Pretty. So I bought a bind-up of the series and finally got around to reading this.

2. We'll Always Have Summer

3. The Fault in Our Stars- This is a re-read for me. I read it about a year ago and felt compelled to read it again.

4. Sweet Evil- This book has been on my TBR pile for a long time and I'm so glad that I finally picked it up! It was different from anything that I had ever read before and I was really surprised about how much I enjoyed it. And the cover is just absolutely gorgeous!

5. We Were Liars- This definitely wasn't what I was expecting.

6. The Geography of You and Me

That's it for this month. Hopefully next month I'll have a longer list!

Excitement

Tomorrow my sister is flying in to see me. She's staying for 8 days and I'm really excited! I haven't seen her in over 2 months and it's the longest time that we've been apart. I'm excited to have my first official visitor in my apartment and show her what I've done to the guest room!

It's been really weird being apart from her and I'm excited to give her an amazing 8 day vacation!

First Time Babysitting

Kris and I babysat my friend's 4-month-old daughter the other day and let's just say that it was an experience. We both had never babysat before and were both excited/scared. But life is full of new experiences and watching Kris with her showed me that he's going to be a great dad one day.

Blessed

Kris and I love our little outings with Jax!

Kris has been on leave for a few days and we've been enjoying every minute of it. We've been spending every second together, trying to make up for the 11 months that we were separated. And it's been amazing. Our love grows stronger every day. And now that we have Jax, our lives are even better. We have our own little family and we both feel so blessed to be living this amazing life together.
