Things That Have Made Me Happy Recently

In life, it's really easy to get overwhelmed with negativity. I've been going through a lot of changes recently and I've really been making an effort to see the positive sides in everything. So I thought that I'd share all the things that have been putting a smile on my face lately.

• Jax- If I'm ever having a bad day or if I'm just in a bad mood, all I have to do is look at his cute little face and I'm instantly happy. He loves to cuddle with me and those cuddles instantly take all of my sadness away. 

• My book- I've gotten a lot of work done with my book and I think that the story is developing nicely. I think that it'll turn into something that I can really be proud of. Plus, delving into a world that only exists in my imagination is pretty fun.
• Learning new recipes- Kris and I haven't been living together for very long and before this, I never lived on my own. So I didn't cook very often. Now, I've got a husband to take care of and a lot of the cooking responsibilities fall on me. I was getting tired of eating the limited amount of dishes that I knew how to make over and over, so I learned some new ones and so far, they've been great! Kris and I are loving the new meals and I'm enjoying expanding my food horizons.
• Rocket Power- At the end of a long, hard day, it's nice to sit back, relax and watch some TV. But what's even better is taking a walk down memory lane. Amazon Prime has Rocket Power and I've been binge-watching ever since I found that out. It was one of my favorite shows as a kid and it's great to relive those times again.

There have been other wonderful things in my life lately but these are ones that stick out to me. I'm glad that I've learned to focus on the positives in life instead of the negatives. Ever since I learned that lesson, I've been much happier.

2. Have you ever been in love? Yes. I'm currently madly in love with my husband.

3. Have you ever had a terrible breakup? Yes but they lead me to Kris, so it's okay. :)

5. How much do you weigh? I'm going to keep that to myself.

6. Do you have any tattoos? Nope but Kris has 2.

8. Who is your OTP? They aren't part of any fandom but Jamie Sullivan and Landon Carter from A Walk to Remember.

9. What is your favorite show? Once Upon a Time.

10. Who is your favorite band? Maroon 5!

11. What is something that you miss? Old friendships.

12. What is your favorite song? I Want Crazy by Hunter Hayes.

13. How old are you? 21.

14. What is your zodiac sign? Aries.

15. What is a quality that you look for in a partner? A sense of humor.

20. Where do you go when you're sad? My office to do some writing.

21. How long does it take you to shower? Probably about 10-15 minutes.

24. What are your turn-ons? Someone that can make me laugh, respects me and has goals.

25. What are your turn-offs? People that are rude and self-centered.

26. Why did you start blogging? Because I was always so scared to share my thoughts with the world and I wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone. I wanted to have a voice.

27. What are your fears? Failure and snakes.

28. What is the last thing that made you cry? I was having a really bad fight with someone that I really cared about.

29. When was the last time that you said that you loved someone? About 10 minutes ago.

30. What is the meaning behind your blog name? I don't know. It just popped into my head. But I've considered changing it.

31. What is the last book that you read? She Is Not Invisible by Marcus Sedgwick.

32. What is the book that you're currently reading? I'm about to start Half Bad by Sally Green.

33. What is the last show that you watched? One Tree Hill.

34. Who was the last person that you talked to? Kris.

36. What is your favorite food? Spaghetti Carbonara.

37. Where do you want to visit? So many places but the place that I want to visit the most is probably Italy.

38. Where is the last place that you were? My friend Kelsey's house.

39. Do you have a crush? On my husband. :)

40. When was the last time that you kissed someone? About 10 minutes ago.

41. When was the last time that someone insulted you? To my knowledge, a couple days ago.

43. What instruments do you play? None but I'd love to learn how to play the piano.

49. When is the last time that you hung out with someone? Yesterday Kris and I hung out with Kelsey and Tyler all day.
