Kelsey's 21st Birthday!

Kelsey's 21st birthday was on Wednesday but we officially celebrated it last night. Two of her friends came up from Georgia to help us celebrate. I was really nervous about meeting them and partying with them. This was my first girls night out and I'm not really good at making friends. But I didn't even need to worry about anything because those girls were fantastic! They accepted me right away and let me feel like part of their little group. I honestly don't think that I could've had better girls to spend last night with. It was amazing and it's definitely a night that I'll never forget!

Happy birthday, Kelsey! I hope that it was everything that you hoped it would be! Thanks for letting me be a part of it!

One More Month

You know the saying that time flies by, so you better not blink or else you'll miss everything? That's kind of how I'm feeling right now. Exactly one month from today, I'll be turning 21 years old.

Seriously, when did 21 years go by?

The thing is, I still feel like I'm a teenager. I mean, I have some more adult responsibilities but I don't feel different. I could say that being married has put how old I'm getting into perspective but because I'm an army wife and Kris has been gone since last May, it doesn't feel that way.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that 21 is old, by any means. I actually didn't even think that it was that big of  deal until everyone else around me, like my family and friends started making a big deal about it. It's all anyone has talked to me about since Christmas, no joke. So now there is all of this hype around my 21st birthday and I'm starting to panic/get excited.

It's scary to think that I'm about to reach another milestone birthday. So if time could stand still for a while, I'd really appreciate it.
