You know how everyone always says that it's the little things in life that matter? Well, I find that to be absolutely true.
My husband, as I have mentioned on numerous occasions, is away with the army right now. But because of the wonderful inventions of cell phones, we can still communicate a decent amount. I haven't seen him in months, so our situation is not perfect. But we make it work.
And because we don't get to see each other every single day or talk whenever we want to (we can only talk when he's free, of course) I appreciate the little things so much more. Whenever I wake up to a "Good morning, beautiful" text, I'm filled with joy because he is taking the very limited time that he has, to start my day off on a good note. And I'm reminded just how lucky I am.
It's not just a text. It's a reminder that someone thinks I'm special, that I'm beautiful, that I'm worth being with and loving. It's a great feeling to know that I've got a best friend thousands of miles away that's also counting down the days until we get to be together.
So appreciate the little things because I bet if you really thought about it, you'd realize that they're the things that mean the most.

This is a blog where you'll get to know the real me. The good, the bad and everything in between. I'm using this blog to document my life experiences, my thoughts and my memories. So come on this little journey with me. I'd love to have you. Just promise me that you will only promote positivity on this blog and I promise that I'll be me, unapologetically.
